We meet each client in person, explain the HIP process and options available, arrange completion of the Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) and carry out the EPC, all in one visit. We also offer the option of solicitor-friendly official searches to be included in your pack.
A Home Information Pack or HIP is a collection of information which must be collated and made available prior to marketing a residential property for sale. Compulsory Documents (to be completed prior to marketing):
- Domestic energy performance certificate (EPC)
- Property information questionnaire (PIQ)
- Evidence of title
Remaining Documents:
- Sale statement
- Local authority search (personal searches or official)
- Water and drainage search
- Leasehold and commonhold documents - if applicable
